Pricing & subscriptions

How much does NutriEat cost?
NutriEat is free to use. Premium is £7.99 a month or £69.99 a year in the UK, and prices differ by country — in India it is ₹499 a month or ₹4,999 a year. Whatever your region, the price you see at checkout is what you pay. See pricing for the full comparison.
What do I get for free?
Meal logging, macro tracking, personalised meal plans, progress tracking and activity tracking are all free. The free tier limits you to three AI coach messages and three fridge recipes a day. Premium removes those limits and adds custom macro targets and grocery lists.
How does the free trial work?
Seven days, free, with full Premium access. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged. If you do nothing, it becomes a paid subscription at the end of the seven days.
Why is the price different in my country?
We set prices per region rather than converting UK prices directly, so the cost reflects local purchasing power. The price shown at checkout in your store is what you pay.

Cancelling & refunds

How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → NutriEat → Cancel. On Android: open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → NutriEat → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep Premium until then.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing is deleted. Your account drops back to the free tier and every meal you have logged, your progress history and your profile stay exactly as they were. The daily limits on the AI coach and fridge recipes come back, and that is the only difference.
Can I get a refund?
Subscriptions bought in the App Store or Google Play are billed by Apple and Google, so refunds go through them — use Apple's "Report a Problem" page or Google Play's refund request form. For anything bought directly through our website, email nutrieatai@gmail.com and we will look at it case by case. The seven-day free trial means you can try everything before you pay anything.
How do I delete my account entirely?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This is immediate and permanent — your meals, logs, AI conversation history and profile are all removed. You can also email nutrieatai@gmail.com and we will do it for you.

Using NutriEat

Can I use NutriEat in a web browser?
Partly. The website is mainly for information and our free calculators. Food scanning, barcode lookup, activity tracking and Metabolic Twin need the mobile app, because they use your phone's camera and health data. For the full experience, install it on iOS or Android.
Which cuisines does NutriEat cover?
British, Indian, Mediterranean, Asian and American. You pick your preference during onboarding and meal plans are built from it. You can change it any time in your profile.
How accurate are the calorie and macro numbers?
They are estimates, good enough to guide everyday decisions but not laboratory measurements. Portion sizes vary, recipes vary, and AI analysis of a photo is an informed approximation. Consistency matters more than precision — tracking the same way each day tells you more than chasing exact figures.
Does NutriEat work offline?
Meal logging and viewing your history work offline, since your data is stored on your device. The AI coach, fridge recipe generator and food scanning all need a connection.
Can I use it with a health condition?
You can record conditions such as diabetes or PCOS in your profile and plans will take your stated preferences into account. But NutriEat is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. If you are managing a condition, your GP or a registered dietitian should be your first call — NutriEat can support what they tell you, not replace it.

Privacy & data

Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising. NutriEat is paid for by the people who use it. See our privacy policy for the detail.
What happens to my food photos?
They are sent for AI analysis and are not stored on our servers afterwards. The nutritional estimate is kept with your meal log; the photo is not.
What do you do with my step count?
Steps and active calories are read from Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect, only with your permission, and that data stays on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers, shared or sold. We use it to show your daily activity and adjust your calorie targets.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Email nutrieatai@gmail.com. Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and we respond within 30 days.

Partners & codes

I have a discount code — where do I enter it?
At checkout when you start your subscription. Codes work on both monthly and annual plans.
Can my gym or business partner with NutriEat?
Yes. Personal trainers, gyms, restaurants and employers can offer NutriEat with a discount code and earn commission on referrals. See partners or email nutrieatai@gmail.com.
