1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing or using NutriEat you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply to free and premium users alike.

2. What NutriEat does

NutriEat is a personal nutrition tracking and coaching app providing:

• AI nutrition coaching and meal recommendations
• Macro and calorie tracking
• Food photo analysis and barcode scanning
• Personalised meal plans based on your goals
• Progress tracking

3. Medical disclaimer

• Content is for information only and is not medical advice
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes
• Do not use NutriEat as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment
• If you have a condition such as diabetes, an eating disorder or kidney disease, speak to your doctor before using the app

NutriEat accepts no liability for health outcomes resulting from use of the app.

4. Accounts and eligibility

To use NutriEat you must:

• Be at least 13 years old, or 16 in the EU
• Provide accurate information during onboarding
• Keep your account secure
• Not share your account with others

You are responsible for activity under your account.

5. Subscriptions and payment

NutriEat has a free tier and a Premium subscription:

• Premium monthly: £7.99 a month in the UK, with a 7-day free trial
• Premium annual: £69.99 a year in the UK, with a 7-day free trial
• Prices vary by country. The price shown at checkout is what you pay
• A free trial becomes a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Refunds follow Apple App Store or Google Play policies for mobile purchases

Mobile subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google. Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time:

• iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → NutriEat
• Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → NutriEat
• Web: email nutrieatai@gmail.com

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Partial periods are not refunded.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the app
• Share, sell or transfer your account
• Rely on the AI coach for advice that should come from a medical professional
• Upload offensive, harmful or illegal content

8. Intellectual property

All content, features and functionality of NutriEat, including text, graphics, logos and software, are owned by NutriEat and protected by UK and international copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NutriEat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including health outcomes, data loss or service interruptions. Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms and will tell you about material changes in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
